Reading for Research

Not sure how to start your research? In this workshop, we will explore how and why academic historians write. Join us to gain hands-on experience in locating suitable secondary sources and reading them effectively. We will also delve into the art of formulating compelling historical arguments and integrating relevant literature into your essays.

Feeling stressed about your assignments in History? We are here to help! Join us for an engaging session where we will share practical strategies for writing an effective history essay and answer your burning questions. The workshop is designed to help you refine your ideas and enhance your writing skills. Feel free to bring along your work-in-progress for consultations!
Light refreshments will be provided. Open to all students, with first-year students especially encouraged to attend.
