Journal Publishing: A Practical Discussion (Dr. Marc S. Rodriguez, Professor, Portland State University)

This seminar run by the Editor of the Pacific Historical Review, Professor Marc Rodriguez, Portland State University, will talk about the nuts and bolts of publishing in the journal. Historians, scholars and postgraduate students interested in publishing in  journals are encouraged to attend.

Marc Rodriguez is Professor of history at Portland State University and Editor of the Pacific Historical Review. Rodriguez has held faculty positions at Princeton University, the University of Notre Dame, and Indiana University. Since becoming editor of the Pacific Historical Review, its authors have won nearly 50 article prizes. He is the author of two books, The Tejano Diaspora (2011), and Rethinking the Chicano Movement (2014), and the editor of Repositioning North American Migration History(2004) and co-editor, with Anthony Grafton, of Migration in History (2007). He is currently working on a book focused on labor organizing on the US-Mexico border.
